Fuse sparked from the mind of artistic director, Kerry E. Sorci - one of the founders and artistic directors of Integrity Productions, a Portland theater company that entertained audiences for more than a decade.

 

To forge the ensemble she reached out to theater artists and theater lovers that she knew were as determined to energize theater audiences as she was. Together they fulfill the mission of Fuse by interacting with both Portland audiences and the community, partnering with other artists and organizations to deliver the kind of thought-provoking theater that Portlanders crave.

“A collective of dedicated theater artists, Fuse Theatre Ensemble cre-

ates vital theater which unearths, transforms, ignites and illuminates

humanity. In pursuit of this goal, we risk passionate performance of

classic, contemporary and new work, commit to ongoing training of

the ensemble, and actively engage with our audience and other ar-

tistic disciplines. By focusing our vision, voices and viewpoints, we

celebrate the universal soul.
