Celeste and Starla, the starfish, have a mystery on their calendar
marked with a capital M! Or do they? You see, Celeste has a bad
memory, so sometimes she only thinks there’s a mystery, while other
times she thinks about love...or lampreys...or Latin dancing for days and days. Oh wait! She just remembered! She does have a mystery! Kim Kelsey Kirkpatrick has hired her to find his son Todd, so she sets off in her swinging roadster to find him.

Local playwright (and Fuse Theatre Ensemble member) Francesca Sanders, is thrilled that Portland audiences will get to see what The Capital Times called "A colorful, high-energy piece that's funny, smart and a great choice for all ages."

This three actor play revolves Celeste, who is, as playwright Sanders says, "A cross between Nancy Drew and Alice in Wonderland." Not a parody of either, she is like both: imaginative, inquisitive, earnest and charming.

The third role in the play, Someone or Anyone, requires the actor to play over thirty different characters, both male and female, including a boxer, a Carmen Miranda wanna-be, a subversive villain and a lepidopterist.

For our production, two actors - a male and a female - will perform the role of Someone or Anyone on different nights.

Which play you see depends on which night you come.
